If smoking is so deadly, why are there so many living smokers that we have to have so many restrictions.

  2. evolutoid says:

are you for or against smoking?Okay, maybe something like: Smoking causes many problems to ones health, and this is why it’s important that these three things…..” But like someone said, it’s not really supporting details. (depending on how the research is going) I WAS going to do mine on smoking, (until the professor knocked it) My thesis was going to say something to the effects of: Smoking is hazardous to the health of many, not just the smoker, but those around the smoker, and those who may come in contact with a smoker, or where the smoker had been. ” And I was going to discuss First hand smoking, second hand smoke, and third hand smoke. Look up third hand smoke, very interesting.

You don’t have a thesis yet. You have three statements that deal with regulations pertaining to smoking, but you don’t have anything about smoking itself. A thesis statement is a reflection of what you have discovered through your research. So you don’t start with the thesis statement, you do the research and the thesis evolves from that.
