Help on documentary ideas for project?

For my humanities class, we have a project due in a few weeks and it's making a documentary. We can either make the documentary by having a 10-minute film or audio clip, 3 different art pieces (each with a page-long explanation of what they're displaying and the point), or 25 pictures explaining them and writing a 3-page essay. I was thinking I'd either do the 25 pictures or I'd do 3 drawings, but I'm not sure what I should do my documentary on. I honestly have no idea as I have never done anything documentary-related before.Any help / input would be greatly appreciated!Thank you!

If you want an “A” or perfect mark on your work try the following:Professors and teachers have a tendency to evaluate students on one or more of the following aspects:Some professors give more value to works that relate to what they like. What are the preferences of your professor? Some professors give more value to students that constantly receive high scores in their work. What is your score with that professor? Most professors give points based on how one work compares with the works of other students. What are the themes chosen by your classmates? When I was in college and professors assinged projects I usually asked other students what they were going to work on. I never did a replicate job of another classmate, thus professors couldn’t compare my project with that of another student.I never did a project on common subjects, like drugs, divorce, alcohol, smoking, the United Nations, violence, etc.Too many students have done projects on those subjects and doing something good or better is extremely impossible.A professor can be teaching a subject that he/she likes or dislikes.Does your professor like the subject he/she is teaching?Do your project on something your professor likes. And preferably on a subject that is little known.I have received 100 % plus (++) in projects with 10 pages (everything included, that is content only almost two pages long). While almost 100 pages projects of my classmates received 80% or less.My subject was a little known one or was different from all the others. My 80% classmates work was on a subject that almost everybody writes about.I think that doing the 10 minute film is an excellent method.Write your subject down then do a Powerpoint presentation.Get some pictures related to your subject and narrate the presentation following the powerpoint slides. If you have a PC with MS Office included, this includes powerpoint and powerpoint includes a narration feature. You can better it with MS Movie Maker. And even post it to your Youtube and Facebook accounts (they are free)You can buy a cheap microfone if your PC or laptop doesn’t already include one.Or borrow one from one of your friends, mikes are very common with pc and laptop users.Include a reference section: where you got your details from, and always include your professor and his class as one of the references.Include an acknowledgement section and include your professor there, too.Your class is in humanities but this includes languages, religions, Ethics, politics, phylosophy. Which is the basic theme of your class? What are the happenings in your country right now or that was important in the past in those areas? If nothing has been written on those subjects in the town where you live, you can be the first to do it: For example: write a documentary on the religions that are profressed in your town if nobody has written about that, your documentary could land in your college’s library.I wrote the history of a small sector, community where I live, as part of a college project, and my work was mentioned in a tv program, and was part of a study my professor was doing.I was made a video conference on euthanasia and now it is part of my college’s audiovisual section. Those are some college survival strategies that you can apply to any course, projection and group.Sincerely,Antonios
